Andrew Milne is senior counsel at Garson Claxton and represents businesses, both large and small, in a variety of industries. His practice focuses on employment law, technology law and business law.
 
Andrew helps clients avoid employee lawsuits by counseling them on employer obligations under the changing and complex assortment of state and federal employment laws. He regularly prepares employee handbooks, executive employment agreements and non-competition agreements. He also represents clients in agency investigations and proceedings, including administrative proceedings before the EEOC and state agencies.  His comments on employment issues have been quoted in numerous media, including The Washington Business Journal, Gazette.com, Examiner.com, WTOP radio and the news program Let's Talk Live.
 
Andrew has extensive experience representing companies in technology and e-commerce matters, including software distribution and development, application service provider agreements, web site hosting, and development of e-commerce services and fulfillment.  He has guided technology companies through start-up and growth, as well as the purchase and sale of technology businesses.  He is the author of CRS Update's Guide to Licensing Software and has spoken on licensing and other legal matters before audiences throughout the United States.
 
Andrew received his law degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law, where he was a member of the Washington & Lee Law Review.
