
Ann Marie Mehlert has more than 20 years experience representing clients in all aspects of commercial real estate, including complex real estate transactions involving sales, acquisitions, 1031 like-kind exchanges, common interests developments, financing for both raw land and improved property, leasing and a variety of development and title issues. She has also negotiated and closed complex multi-million dollar financing transactions for clients including equity financing, as well as conventional loan financing.
Ann Marie has represented clients in the purchasing and leasing of shopping centers, office buildings and land. She has managed the closings of many intricate real estate transactions. On behalf of developers of large-scale residential developments, she has negotiated the purchase of property, overseen the due diligence process, and negotiated the volume sale of residential lots to national builders.
Ann Marie graduated with honors from both American University’s Washington College of Law and the College of Arts and Sciences at Boston College.
